About

We are a local Parks club, LTA accredited and run by and for our members, providing social and competitive tennis to players of all ages and abilities, with reasonable membership rates.

We have 4 recently resurfaced and painted hard tennis courts and a shared clubhouse (with the Bowls club) that includes a kitchen, changing room and toilet facilities.

Our subscription rates are very reasonable, and we provide free balls for club nights, free refreshments and several social events. 

Above all, our aim is to provide affordable tennis for all. Whether you are new to the game, looking to improve your tennis or just want to have some great games with a friendly local bunch, we welcome everyone.

As a community parks club, the courts are available to hire for pay and play by the public and non-members who wish to book a court and have fun playing tennis with friends and family.

Saltdean Tennis Courts

In 2023 the club took on the responsibility of the tennis courts from Brighton & Hove council. To do this we set up a Community Amateur Sport Company, which is a not-for-profit model set up for community sports clubs. This means we can no longer have the courts freely available, which is the same throughout all the courts in the city. Membership fees and any fees paid by the public to use the courts go into a sinking fund to resurface the courts.
